Oposoft Video Editor is a simple application that lets you cut, split, and join video files. It’s not exactly a video editor as it doesn’t let you modify the content of the video in any way, such as cropping it, rotating it or changing the color and other display parameters. Instead, it lets you manage the video files in three simple ways: cut segments from them, split them into smaller pieces, or join multiple videos into larger files. Anyway, there are some undeniable advantages offered by this tool. One of them is the simple, easy-to-use and intuitive interface that allows even beginners to use it without any problem. The other is the fact that it supports a lot of video file formats and it allows converting the processed videos to other formats. For example, you can join multiple AVI video files and export the resulting video to a MP4 file. Unfortunately, this change cannot be applied when cutting or splitting video files. The output segments will have the same format as the input file.
When joining multiple videos into one single larger file, Oposoft Video Editor also lets you tweak various parameters of the output file, such as the screen resolution, quality level, bit rate, frame rate, etc.
To sum it all up, Oposoft Video Editor is pretty handy especially when it comes to video joining. Unfortunately, it lacks quite a lot of basic features, as well as any advanced video editing function, therefore its price looks a bit high to me.
